Is hell real?
Jesus spoke about it as real, more than anyone else in the Bible, and He spoke about it as someone who came to save people from it.
The clearest answer comes from Jesus Himself. He warned about Gehenna, the outer darkness and eternal punishment, and He did it as the One who loves people enough to die for them.
If Jesus is who He said He is, His warning is the most loving thing He could tell us.
28Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
